Some recent pro-abortion media propaganda has attempted to gaslight the public by painting “self-managed abortion,” sometimes known as “DIY” or “at-home abortion,” as if it is the fault of the pro-life movement and the result of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. But the abortion industry’s plan to move toward self-managed abortion was set in motion long, long before the Supreme Court’s June 2022 decision — in fact, over a decade before. It seems that now, the abortion industry and media’s plan is to blame pro-life laws when anything goes wrong with the self-managed abortions they endorsed...

Nine couples are suing an IVF clinic in Orange County, California, saying that the clinic knowingly implanted women with embryos that were deceased. The couples are asking for an unspecified amount of damages. KTLA reports that attorneys representing the couples claim Ovation Fertility made errors at its Newport Beach lab, but then “knowingly implanted dead embryos into would-be mothers and then tried to conceal the laboratory mistakes that had poisoned the embryos.” According to a news release from Marcereau Law Group and Ikuta Hemesath LLP, the lab used “lethal hydrogen peroxide instead of distilled water during pre-implantation dethawing procedures in...

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed House Bill 2435 into law on Tuesday, requiring all public schools in the state to include an approved prenatal child development segment in the state-mandated age-appropriate family life curriculum. A three-minute ultrasound or computer animation can satisfy the curriculum requirements; Live Action’s “Meet Baby Olivia” is listed as one such animation, though it is not specifically required. The legislation previously passed the House in an overwhelming 67-23 vote in March, and likewise, the Senate passed the bill by a wide margin, at 21-6. “Meet Baby Olivia” was created by Live Action in collaboration with medical...

@RobertKennedyJr When frightened men take to social media they risk descending into vitriol, which makes them sound unhinged. President Trump's rant against me is a barely coherent barrage of wild and inaccurate claims that should best be resolved in the American tradition of presidential debate. President Trump, who has proven himself the most adept debater in modern American political history, should not be panicked to meet me on that stage. To preview my arguments, I will show how President Trump betrayed the hopes of his most sincere followers. He promised to end the Ukraine war and then colluded with Speaker...

Fifteen miles east of the garrison town of Lyman, a desperate fight has been taking place on Ukraine’s eastern front for months. The once verdant Serebryansky pine forest has been reduced to burnt-out stumps, reminiscent of images from the Somme, destroyed amid Russian attacks aimed at eliminating Ukrainian foxholes. Fearful that the frontline could crack last summer, Ukraine’s commanders deployed the Azov infantry brigade to the sector. Their task was and is to repel what “Maslo”, a 29-year-old staff sergeant with the unit’s first battalion, described as “constant assaults, every day, sometimes for 24 hours”. Occasionally the brigade makes dangerous...

Check out the YouTube circa 1956. I want to know if life was like that: Congested dance halls, Rock n' roll, a post-War boom? Seems like another world... One you kind of hanker for. Can any Freepers recall the era depicted?

The Supreme Court indicated on April 25 that it would issue a narrow ruling refining the scope of presidential immunity while leaving the details of former President Donald Trump’s other legal battles up to lower courts. The most immediate effect of their decision on President Trump’s legal battles would be to delay his Washington case, where his immunity appeal originated. That trial was scheduled to start on March 4 but, more recently, observers have been questioning whether it will even start before the election.Sending the case back to D.C. District Judge Tanya Chutkan would presumably force her to continue pre-trial...

In an exclusive interview with Remix News, Dutch political commentator and lawyer Eva Vlaardingerbroek warns Europeans that they must take a stand against rapid demographic change or become a minority in their native countries. You’ve spoken a lot about White rights and the White replacement. But of course this kind of opens you up to these accusations of racism. So, how do conservatives deal with this Catch-22 of not wanting to be replaced in their native countries, but also not wanting to be attacked with this term? You can’t. That’s the thing, you can’t. So you have to pick a side. Of...

I have been an admirer of South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem ever since she first showed up on my radar after her election in 2019. She has established a solid record as a conservative with ambitious policy goals that have served her state very well and she's an excellent communicator. She's been well up on my list of potential Trump veepstakes picks because she brings a lot to the table. But all of that came crashing down for me yesterday evening when The Guardian published a review of her upcoming book, "No Going Back: The Truth on What’s Wrong with...

Rico Tice, a well-known Evangelical leader and former Church of England clergyman, has left the denomination in reaction to what he perceives as its growing departure from biblical values, especially concerning same-sex marriage and repentance. Tice, best known for co-writing the evangelism course Christianity Explored and co-founder of Christianity Explored Ministries, cited the denomination's recent decision to allow priests to bless same-sex couples and its lack of substantive response to concerns laid out by him and five other leaders of CofE-connected parachurch organizations last October. In an interview with Evangelicals Now, Tice, the former senior minister at All Souls, Langham Place...

ARCATA, Calif. — Cal Poly Humboldt announced on Friday that its campus will remain closed through the rest of the semester due to the ongoing protests and occupation of Siemens Hall and Nelson Hall East. The semester was set to end on May 10. The university said remote instruction and work will continue until that time. On Monday, several dozen demonstrators took over Siemens Hall, one of the main buildings on campus. Another group of protesters was outside the building. University officials said the ongoing occupation of the two buildings has caused an "ongoing inability to open other campus facilities."...

News coverage of the “protests” at our “elite” universities is focused mainly on downplaying, even justifying, rallies for terrorists and antisemitism, the DNA of such events. It would appear elitism now consists of academic and financial fraud as schools such as Columbia have canceled in-person classes for the remainder of the semester, relying instead on Zoom classes, the Covid “distance learning” alternative produces no learning, distance or otherwise. I suffered through that the final semester before I retired. I knew I was defrauding the public. Everyone knew it, but we had no choice. Our “elite” universities are choosing to defraud...

A New Mexico grandma has been hailed as a hero for shooting a burglar who burst into her home and attacked her while she watched a Taylor Swift movie with her granddaughter. Anissa Tinnin, 45, was elated that her granddaughter was spending the night. The duo ate dinner, bathed and cuddled on the couch as they watched Taylor Swift's Eras Tour film. 'We had our popcorn and M&M's, dancing and singing along, when our lives were about to suddenly change A man Tinnin had never seen before barreled through the front door. 'I jumped over this couch and we met...

When Admiral Michael Gilday, chief of U.S. naval operations, gave an interview in 2022, he made a point of saying he believed China could invade Taiwan in 2022 or 2023. As of the last week of April 2024, China has not invaded Taiwan. Does this mean that Taiwan and the international community can breathe a collective sigh of relief? Maybe. A compelling case can be made that if China does intend to take Taiwan, then the period between now and January 2025 is as favorable a time as it is likely to have over the near term. There is an array...

Once again, young people who have nothing important or valuable in their lives and who believe in nothing substantive or enduring are demonstrating their desperate need for belonging and purpose. Psychologists who have studied violence in young men and especially young men’s willingness to forsake everything they know, everything they’ve been taught, and everything they might otherwise believe about right and wrong, say that there is a set of shared circumstances and “revelations” that link spree killers and self-radicalized terrorists. Faced with the emptiness of their own lives, isolated from many of their contemporaries, and desperately in search of...
