If you publicly flaunt and celebrate your sins, yes, you should be condemned for it, and isolated from influence and power over others. Do you publicly flaunt and celebrate sin, like Grenell does? Do you really believe someone who flew the gay flag over their embassy, in violation of state department policy at the time, should not have been punished, and is worthy of further appointment to government power?
I doubt that the members of Log Cabin Republicans participate in Pride Parades or other such public events where they act out their debaucher as a badge to be shoved into the faces of others. If you can provide evident that they do then I will vocalize my disdain for their actions. I think they are the more silent types who feel no desire or need to present themselves for public display.
