Yes, some Jews support and fund the Dems, there are some Jewish pols and have been for a very long time. But the last time I looked, the Clintons, the Obamas, the Bidens, Valerie Jarrett, and on and on and on, are NOT Jewish.
I have not been a fan of the Clintons, but Hillary has been one of the few who gets it and speaks clearly and mostly correctly on this topic. And Bill Clinton, Heaven knows he tried to move hell and high water to get the Oslo deal signed. Arafat played him for a fool the whole time, tore up the deal in 1999 and went to war with suicide bombers. That pushed the once leftist Israeli electorate who wanted a peace deal decidedly to the right. When Clinton met with Bush at the end of his term he told Bush flat out to forget about Arafat it was all a scam.
Is the Dem Party completely controlled by Jews? No.
But Jewish members have a very high degree of influence, and the Dem party would be crippled if wealthy Jewish donors decided to stop providing money and organizational skills.
I don’t take seriously these protesters. I think it is relevant to question Israel’s high handedness in crushing Gaza as it has. I support Israel and always will but I still think it’s a worthy question.
