Democrats are in full hand-wringing mode over the anti-Israel protests on campus. The louder the protesters scream about "Free Palestine," the more nervous the Democrats become.
They know that there aren't many potential Donald Trump voters yelling antisemitic epithets at Jewish students from "Gaza Liberation Zones." These were Joe Biden voters in 2020 and may yet be again. In fact, as close a race as the 2024 presidential race is going to be. Biden is going to need these antisemites to win.
As much as Democrats want to sympathize with the pro-Hamas protesters, they know they have to walk a fine line.
"The longer they continue, and the worse that they get, the worse it's going to be for the election overall," one House Democrat told Axios.
The protests, the anonymous Democratic lawmaker warned, are "bringing out [the public's] most conservative side."
Rep. Annie Kuster (D-N.H.), chair of the New Democrat Coalition, said that many of her fellow Democrats "have been, kind of, holding back" on commenting about the protests.
"It's complicated enough for us with the range of opinions and height of emotions we have, without weighing in on what [colleges] should be doing," Kuster said.
"It's hard because ... the more thoughtful approach is the more difficult approach. It's easier to pick a side and start yelling," said another senior House Democrat.

The same thing may be happening with Hamas in the U.S. Especially with the youth who's brainwashed at our universities.
If Democrat leadership were to round up ALL of the Palestinians involved in these protests as well as illegal immigrants that have been flooding the nation, AND immediately state they are not about to import refugees from Gaza, they would win the election hands down. I promise. However, they are too stupid to do that so they have to cheat on the vote.

HAMAS is a US and internationally recognized terrorist organization. Same with the PLO if I recall correctly. HAMAS leads Palestinians and every survey I've ever read suggests 70-90% support of HAMAS. On October 7, 2023, HAMAS broke a long-standing ceasefire to brutally attack, rape, behead, torture, and kill Americans and Israelis. They still hold 10-40 Americans hostage, sharing a video of one just a week or so ago. Protesters are supporting HAMAS, shouting 'Death to America' on our campuses, harassing, threatening, and assaulting American students on our campuses.
Democrats have a simple choice, embrace the pro-terrorist protests or renounce them. Now, publicly, not later or quietly when more convenient.
Wonder when it will occur to them if you are pro-Hamas and hate Jews then you also will likely hate Christians.
The Squad is pro-Hamas. Dearborn is important if Biden wants to win Michigan.

Trump’s voter base is primarily middle class managers and working class managers and labor. They aren’t sending their children to Ivy League Schools. Most of their children have been taught middle class values, have likely worked part time, and understand the economic sacrifice their parents have voluntarily taken in order to give them a better life. These kids have enough respect not to dishonor their parents by misbehaving whether or not they personally sympathize with Gaza.
The people demonstrating and rioting on college campus are foreign students and the spoiled children of upper middle class and wealthy parents. Or, they are DEI beneficiaries whose minds have been poisoned by the grievance social justice crowed. Throw into the demonstrator pot a few outside activists and kooky professors.
Behold the left’s dismay that their “MAGA=Nazi” trope is being demolished by their own side. They’ll find a way to explain it all, of course. Vampires don’t look into a mirror because they can’t.
