So what?

So the story is likely not fake.

Common sense is a wonderful thing. It allows those who use it to determine when reporting from a corporate network is likely reliable and when it is not. I would trust even CNN or MSNBC in this context. In other contexts, for instance trusting them to fairly and accurately cover some political controversy or something Trump is a accused of, obviously only an idiot would trust them.

I do not give Fox News such a wide benefit of doubt these days, so I cannot agree. Ever since the 2011 “course correction”, I have found them to be only marginally better than the mainstream competition; in particular, they are saying the same thing (a Biden administration official is the source) while putting “Israel (does such and such)” in their headline, which is dishonest and tedious.
