THE END OF FAIR USE & A TAX ON LINKS IN EU. This will break the internet in the EU.

Yes, this can destroy the internet as we know it in Europe, and we have only 1 month to act on this and in the years, independent journalists and alternative media based companies have faced government regulation of the web, which has included stupid "hate speech" laws and clamp downs on social media platforms that are determined to be "fake news". Now this bill will make everything much more difficult when it comes to the issue of copyright. It is not about taking down screen recorded movies that someone posted on Youtube (That I do not have a huge problem with). But it is when they tax link sharing, not being allowed to use another person's piece of Music unless you have a license, and much more.

The EU is killing everything, including their citizens, so their killing the internet does not surprise me in the least.

The EU knows what Democrats know: the free and unfiltered access and sharing of information (via internet) begets conservative views/voters.

They have to shut it down to maintain power.

They honestly thought that the internet would usher in an era of unchecked liberalism.

This is exactly it.

There is no liberal answer to the likes of Milo, Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, Andrew Klavan, Prager U, etc.

On the other hand, there really is no conservative equivalent of Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Maxine Waters, Bernie Sanders, etc. Well, there won’t be once John McCain is out.

I’ve said for over a decade that, on the internet, the truth percolates to the top and that logic trumps emotion. The left is actually left quite helpless on the internet. The internet is what destroyed Dan Rather’s career, what gave the victory to GWB. And this was when its power was highly limited. Now, the only chance the left has is to eliminate it, or control it with draconian measures that would never stand.

not being allowed to use another person's piece of Music unless you have a license

Because everyone has a fundamental right to steal.

I guess I'm just to old to see the moral distinction between stealing movies and stealing music.

It isn't stealing if you still have yours.
