Democrats are growing increasingly suspicious of Rep. Tulsi Gabbard's (D-Hawaii) political intentions, fearing that she may be considering a third-party bid for the White House in 2020 if she doesn't win the Democratic presidential nomination.
Gabbard's announcement last week that she would not seek reelection to her House seat and would instead focus solely on her presidential bid only served to hasten those concerns.
Some party strategists and operatives fear that a third-party bid by the Hawaii congresswoman could fracture parts of the electorate and stir chaos in the 2020 contest, ultimately setting the stage for President Trump's reelection.
The criticisms are particularly pointed from people in former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's orbit.
"She has absolutely zero path to becoming the Democratic nominee, so what is she doing?" said Adam Parkhomenko, a Democratic strategist and former aide to Clinton, the party's 2016 presidential nominee. "To say that she's going to take her campaign all the way to the convention just suggests that she's trying to create chaos."

No way Tulsi will be the Democrat nominee. But she can run as a third-party Green candidate and guarantee that Trump is relected. Would she want to be a spoiler for Trump?

Bloomberg/Gabbard as a third party. It would be a Trump dream if it happened. Political trends change fast. After the Stalinist impeachment ultimately fails, the voters will look to punish the vulnerable Democrats. Bloomberg will see it as his chance to win as a third party and will seize the opportunity.

I know. That’s not what is going on, but the thought of President Trump going to that level of manipulation to mess with the Dems fills me with happiness. :)

Bloomberg will never run third party because he hates Trump and wouldn’t want to hurt the Dem nominee. He has said as much.
She wants her own $600,000 house on the lake like Bernie got.
OH, heck, not a single vote has been cast, and she is also carving out be papabile for the VP nom or a serious 2024 run.
Green candidate would cripple her future prospects, as sopport for green fascism has peaked.
I do believe that she could carve a niche for herself as the leader of a new socialist antiwar faction, now that the Democrat party has been goaded into ceding the antiwar torch entirely to Trump.
Her tiff with Hitlery could launch such a moment strongly, although the old guard will always hate her for finishing Hillary off once and for all time.
Clinton calling Gabbard a Russian asset actually proves to liberals that it is a generic smear - that the DNC calls EVERYONE that.
A side benefit of Gabbard’s experiences is that it proves Big Tech tears down everyone who doesn’t align with liberals in power. For example, the coordinated media campaign against her AND her ads being refused by Big Tech.
If a DNC rep and Presidential candidate can be subject to a coordinated press smear campaign AND Big Tech censorship, it proves Trump is right - that they DO do this.
This very same numnuts said the same about Donald Trump in 2016...
