Besides Toyota, the Koreans (the Hyundai/Kia/Genesis conglomerate) have also hedged their bets, and are not all in on EVs. A mix of ICE, hybrid, EV in their lineups.

When we see national gas gas refineries and local gas stations disappearing, we’ll know they’re serious. And we will within 2yrs. I just hope the EV industry crashes hard before then.

Expensive, virtue signaling, grocery getters.
Nobody trusts these things for vacation travel because there are too few places to charge them and it takes too long.
There little consumer demand and that isn't changing anytime soon.
