Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker delivered a powerful address espousing Christian values to a group of graduates at Benedictine College on Saturday.
Now, the NFL is saying they disagree with Butker.
In his commencement speech, the Butker blasted President Joe Biden for his pro-abortion stances, urged male grads to embrace masculinity, and championed the virtues of motherhood by telling female graduates there is no higher calling than being a homemaker.
On Wednesday, in a statement to People, NFL Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Jonathan Beane clarified that Butker’s values are not the NFL’s.
“Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity,” Beane wrote. “His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger.”
In addition to speaking to graduates about the anti-Christian values the current administration holds regarding abortion and motherhood, as well as the “cultural emasculation of men,” Butker also said that Pride Month represented “deadly sins.”

I am absolutely NOT a Sports Fan.
I do hunt and fish and grow things.
NFL could cease existence today and I would never notice.
Don’t ever turn on TV. Don’t attend sports events.
I suspect my “values” are not supported by the NFL.

As for the NFL's statement, "The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger," they are so far off the mark. This is why I never watch any pro sports games anymore. Plus I got better things to do with my time.
If a Muslem on the team came out with a pro Muslim statement, this same guy would not say anything other than “He is entitled to his opinion, and we support his right to express that opinion”.

It’s controversial to say that a woman’s most important “job” is to be a mother? I would say also that a man’s most important calling is to be a father. After all, what happens to the human race without parenthood? It’s basic biology, which even the left believed in until this century.
One of the reporters of Good Day LA program, after showing the speech, started screeching that he was trying to keep women down, but, the others disagreed with her.
The real question is: What should a married woman's first priority be?
Should ensuring the well being of her children, and stability of the family come first?
Or, should she put her career ahead of everything else?
It's not complicated IMO.
I will add a note that most on thier death beds are not thinking that they wished they had spent more time at work. Something young women should consider, when deciding what to devote their lives to.
As for the (N)o (F)ans (L)eft-their hatred of traditional family values is duly noted.
When Roger Goodell became NFL Commissioner I wrote him and predicted that he would preside over the decline of the NFL❗ It was predictable from the way that he started, overlooking destructive problems.

He obviously is. I recall many men shot up or wounded by incoming 68-69 they all seemed to be talking to the Lord.
