Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker delivered a powerful address espousing Christian values to a group of graduates at Benedictine College on Saturday.
Now, the NFL is saying they disagree with Butker.
In his commencement speech, the Butker blasted President Joe Biden for his pro-abortion stances, urged male grads to embrace masculinity, and championed the virtues of motherhood by telling female graduates there is no higher calling than being a homemaker.
On Wednesday, in a statement to People, NFL Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Jonathan Beane clarified that Butker’s values are not the NFL’s.
“Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity,” Beane wrote. “His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger.”
In addition to speaking to graduates about the anti-Christian values the current administration holds regarding abortion and motherhood, as well as the “cultural emasculation of men,” Butker also said that Pride Month represented “deadly sins.”

Just emailed Goodell, not only about their RENOUNCING Butler's graduation address, but, ALSO asked if they're so DAMNED invested in "inclusion" how come there are NOT more FEMALE PLAYERS on the field?
That should trip their trigger!

I still chuckle when I hear an adult say this big business, or that big business, or the NFL only cares about ability and performance.

The only thing worse than watching pro sports on tv is watching live in the stadium.
I just took my son to a Dodgers baseball game. The monstrous speakers are playing rap nonstop at 120 dB, so loud I can feel my internal organs vibrating. The flashing lights all around the ballpark are annoying as hell. The only time the park goes quiet and stops flashing lights is for a few seconds for each pitch.
They played “Charge” on the organ a couple of times, probably to appease old-timers like me.
I remember my first time watching a pro baseball game live in the then-new Busch Stadium in St. Louis in ‘66. You had an announcer, the crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd,the ump yelling “Out” or “Safe,” and an occasional LIVE organ playing “Charge.”
The worst is the huge TV screens at the stadium flashing “Make some noise!” Reminds me of Jen saying “Clap.”
Even without all the woke crap, the experience is awful and geared toward juvenile minds.
Yeah, we all know the NFL does not hold these values.
