granting the nominal premise, I disagree that NPR is on of “America’s institutions” in the great sense of that term. I would not compare an adolescent government agency, a child of the New Deal, to be an “institution” on par with Notre Dame, for example. Likewise for any media organ.

They use word salad phrases that are incomprehensible when first heard but always contain a subtle insult. “cis white mobility privilege” - really? What a load of dung. The rest are not any better.
When I hear someone talking like that I simply turn and walk away. They are too far gone to bother with.
